Below you’ll find answers to the questions we get asked the most about using SwiftQuote

What is SwiftQuote? 

SwiftQuote is an online service that connects businesses with trusted service providers. Our goal is to support local communities and help small businesses thrive by building new clients for providers and keeping compliance simple.

How does SwiftQuote work?

Businesses create quote requests for individual service providers or all providers in their area. Providers are invited to offer quotes for work and can message the customer directly to understand the job specifics.


Customers select their preferred provider and schedule the service. Upon job completion, the provider uploads service details to SwiftQuote, and the customer either pays online via credit card or offline directly to the provider.

What is the commission fee?

We charge a commission fee only when services are completed. It is split up between SwiftQuote (9%) and the credit card fee (3% where applicable).

Am I required to sign up?

No. SwiftQuote is an optional service.

Do I need to add my location?

Yes! Adding your location(s) information is key because it allows us to place you geographically and show you providers that service your area.

How do I add my location? 

Navigate to your profile and select ‘Add new location.’ Simply answer the prompted questions and you’re all set.

Do I need to add equipment information?

We highly recommend it! By adding this information you are setting yourself up to receive the most accurate quotes and best deals.

What does this cost?

SwiftQuote is a free service for businesses. The only thing you pay for is your service booked through the platform. 

What if I already have a provider?

If your current provider is not on SwiftQuote and you want them to be, we are happy to reach out on your behalf to invite them to join. Or, if you are not locked into a contract and are interested in trying a new provider, we are here to assist you in that process.

How do I find a provider?

Select search providers. Choose the service you need and filter by location, price, experience, etc. Or using the magnifying glass on the right, search via company name.

How do I get a quote?

Click the ‘Get a Quote’ button in the top right of your screen. Select your service and answer the questions.This method will send the request to all providers in your area.

How do I get a quote only from one provider?

Navigate to the profile of the selected provider and click ‘Select this service’ button for the needed service. If the price is not listed, you will be sending a request for service, which will prompt the provider to send you a quote.

How do I receive multiple quotes?

Send your quote request to all providers in your area. This gives you the opportunity to select the provider & price that best fits your needs.

Are SwiftQuote services reported to my regulator?

Yes! When jobs are completed through SwiftQuote, the work order or pumping manifest is automatically submitted to participating jurisdictions through SwiftComply’s compliance software.

Can I set up a recurring service? 

Yep! We offer a selection where you can set up a service to occur on a specific timeline. We recommended scheduling this based on what your regulator has set in your SwiftComply compliance profile.

Can I leave a review?

Yes, please do! After a job is completed you will receive a notification prompting you to leave a 1 – 5 star review and/or comments.

What are the perks?

Save time request a quote one time and hear from multiple suppliers in your area.

Stay compliant service documents are automatically submitted to your regulator after SwiftQuote completion.

Gain control set the schedule you want services to occur and ensure they’re completed on-time.

How do I make my profile public?

Navigate to your profile & switch the ‘make profile public’ toggle on. This action is required for potential new customers to find your business.

Is SwiftQuote linked to SwiftComply?

Yes, SwiftQuote is integrated with SwiftComply. 

What is my Portfolio? 

This section is designed to showcase your business! Add details and photos to differentiate your business and give customers a better idea of who they could be working with.

How does the Verification section work?

Here you can upload a photo of you and your ID, as well as your business license. The SwiftQuote team will receive the documents and approve up to date documentation.

Do I have to list my pricing?

Not if you don’t want to! You have the option to show your price or keep it hidden and create only custom quotes.

Why do I need to add my banking information?

It allows your business to accept credit card payments & also lets businesses that only want to pay by card to find you. We use Stripe, an online payment processing system, to handle all online payments.

What is Stripe?

Stripe is a PCI Service Provider Level 1 compliant online payment processor. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payment industry.

Do I have to submit photos of my jobs?

It is not a SwiftQuote requirement, but we suggest completing jobs with all information required by your local jurisdiction so SwiftQuote can report on your behalf.

How do I find jobs?

Visit the ‘Find Work’ page to see all open service requests.

How will I know the service information to give a quote?

If the customer has entered their information on their profile, that will be included in the quote request or directly emailed to you by one of our SwiftQuote team members. If you need additional information, please reach out to the customer via our in-app chat service, or email hello@swiftquote.us and a member of our team will contact the customer.

When am I charged the commission? 

Only when you complete a job. There are no hidden fees for quoting, messaging, or creating your profile.

How will I pay the commision if my customer pays in cash?

You will receive email notifications regarding any activity linked to your profile on SwiftQuote. Be sure the email linked to your account is one you check regularly! You will also be able to see the status of quotes under the ‘My Orders’ tab when logged into SwiftQuote.

What about my existing customers?

SwiftQuote is designed to help build new business; but we encourage you to ask your existing customers to sign up if you like the service.

How will I know if my quote has been accepted or declined?

You will receive email notifications regarding any activity linked to your profile on SwiftQuote. Be sure the email linked to your account is one you check regularly! You will also be able to see the status of quotes under the ‘My Orders’ tab when logged into SwiftQuote. 

What are the perks?

SwiftQuote helps build your business with free marketing and weekly communication to  businesses in need of grease services. We offer the ability to create/adjust quotes, communicate directly with customers, and charge cancellation fees.

Is SwiftQuote used for scheduling?

Though you will receive email reminders about upcoming services, SwiftQuote is not a scheduling software. We recommend adding any services booked through SwiftQuote to your normal scheduling program.
